Unlike many other GPS trackers, this solution also includes theft insurance with no deductible and no age-related depreciation, making Bikefinder a complete theft protection solution for electric bikes and Class 2 electric mopeds.

Theft insurance with no deductible – also for Class 2 mopeds

Bikefinder subscriptions include theft insurance with no deductible and no age deduction, provided that:

• The GPS unit has at least 20% battery at the time of theft

• The device is correctly installed and active

The insurance applies to both electric bikes and electric mopeds (Class 2).

Note: For Class 2 electric mopeds, a separate traffic insurance is required, as Bikefinder only covers theft.
In practice, this often reduces your total insurance cost by:

• taking out traffic insurance with an insurance provider

• using Bikefinder as theft insurance
