RAWBIKE Longtail is our brand-new electric cargo bike in longtail format, developed to make everyday transportation easier, smoother, and more flexible. A longtail bike combines the feeling of a regular bicycle with the capacity of a cargo bike – making it a perfect option for families, commuting, and daily errands.
Unlike traditional box cargo bikes, a longtail is as narrow as a regular bicycle, but slightly longer at the rear to provide space for passengers and cargo. This allows you to easily ride on regular bike lanes, park conveniently, and maneuver in urban environments without the bike feeling large or bulky.
RAWBIKE Longtail is designed to replace many short everyday car trips – whether you're dropping off the kids, grocery shopping, or transporting gear.
A flexible cargo bike for family and everyday life
One of the biggest advantages of a longtail bike is its flexibility. RAWBIKE Longtail can easily be adapted to your needs.
If you want to transport children, there is space for up to two child seats, or you can mount seat pads, footrests, and a safety bar to create a safe seating area on the rear rack.
If you instead want to transport cargo, you can use the two AVS+ mounts included with the bike. Each mount supports a load of up to 27 kg, allowing you to attach boxes, baskets, or other transport solutions.
The rear rack also supports a maximum load of 75 kg, making RAWBIKE Longtail one of the most versatile cargo bikes in its class.
Easy to ride – even in city traffic
A common concern about cargo bikes is that they are large and difficult to ride. The longtail concept solves this.
RAWBIKE Longtail is as wide as a regular bicycle, making it easy to ride on narrow bike lanes, through city traffic, and in tighter environments.
The extended rear frame provides stability and load capacity without compromising the riding experience.
The sturdy center stand makes it easy to load children or cargo while the bike remains stable. The stand supports a load of up to 190 kg.
Natural riding feel with torque sensor
RAWBIKE Longtail is equipped with a 250W brushless electric motor from Japanese Dapu, mounted in the rear wheel.
The motor works together with a torque sensor, meaning the bike detects how hard you pedal and adjusts motor assistance accordingly. The result is a smooth, natural, and responsive riding experience.
The powerful 48V / 15Ah battery (720Wh) with LG cells provides a range of up to 70 km, with an average range around 60 km depending on load, terrain, and assistance level.
Safe and stable – even with heavy loads
RAWBIKE Longtail is built for daily use and heavy loads.
The robust construction supports a total maximum load of 190 kg, making it ideal for family transport and cargo.
The bike features hydraulic Tektro brakes with 180 mm brake discs, providing powerful and reliable braking even when fully loaded.
The tires are 20 x 3.0 Innova with puncture protection, providing excellent grip and stability.
Smart lighting and modern display
RAWBIKE Longtail features integrated front and rear lighting powered directly by the bike’s battery.
The front light delivers 120 lux, while the rear light features a brake light function.
