Terms and Conditions Rawbike

Rawbike sells via the internet to individuals and companies. For sales and exports, shipping costs are charged unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right for potential errors in product information and retain the right to price changes without prior notice. Products are ordered through www.rawbike.se using the required details provided in the order forms on the website. Incomplete orders, i.e., missing information, are not considered valid orders. Rawbike only enters agreements with legal adults, aged 18 or older.

Prices/Shipping Fees

All prices on the website include VAT. Our goal is to maintain stable prices throughout the year. We reserve the right to adjust prices if exchange rates, import regulations, or other conditions change. We also reserve the right to perform standard credit checks for invoice purchases. If credit checks are not approved or if delivery is to an address other than the registered address, the product will be shipped as cash on delivery (COD). In this case, an additional fee of 450 SEK (courier's cash handling fee) applies.

Delivery

For in-stock items ordered on weekdays, products are shipped from our warehouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are expected to arrive 2-4 business days later. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed as unforeseen delays may occur. If there are delivery issues that we are aware of, you will be informed as long as you have provided an email address for contact. In cases of significant delays that Rawbike can influence, the customer has the right to cancel the purchase. Any prepayments will be refunded within 30 days if the cancellation is valid. Full return rights apply to consumers (not business customers) within fourteen days of the delivery date, provided the product is in new condition and packed in its complete original packaging.

General

Guarantees provided are only valid in the country where the product was purchased and only for goods acquired for personal use.

Receipt

Guarantees are only valid upon presentation of a valid receipt and if regular servicing has been performed at least once a year.

Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is a privilege that applies only to private individuals, not companies. To be valid, the product must be returned in essentially unchanged condition within 14 days from the delivery date. The customer has the right to open the packaging and carefully examine the product to ensure its quality and functionality. However, the product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, including all accessories and any protective materials.

It is essential that the product is unused and in the same condition as at the time of delivery for the right of withdrawal to apply. This means that the product must not show signs of wear, damage, or use that would affect its value or resale potential.

In summary, the right of withdrawal allows the customer to cancel their purchase and return the product within a specified period, provided it is returned in its original condition and packaging. This ensures customer confidence and the ability to make an informed purchase decision.

The customer is responsible for handling returns, and a return shipping label is provided by RAWBIKE. We do not refund shipping costs to the customer and charge a return fee corresponding to the product ordered.

Delivery Guarantee

Rawbike guarantees that the delivered product complies with issued specifications and the customer's order and is free from manufacturing defects or other faults upon delivery.

Delivery Damage

The customer is obliged to check the product for damages upon receipt. If damage to the packaging is discovered at delivery, a report must be made directly to our support team within two days of delivery for the delivery damage guarantee to apply.

Incorrect Delivery

The customer is obliged to check that the delivered product matches the order upon receipt. Incorrect delivery refers to the wrong color, model, etc. Any delivery errors must be reported to Rawbike within a reasonable time, but no later than seven days. In case of incorrect delivery, Rawbike has the right to supply the customer with a new product. Rawbike will cover the return shipping cost for the incorrectly delivered product, which must be packed in its original packaging and unused. Contact Rawbike for a return shipping label at support@rawbike.se

Return Conditions

Right of Withdrawal and Return Conditions for Mopeds and Bicycles

For the right of withdrawal to apply to a purchased moped or bicycle, the vehicle must be in essentially unchanged condition upon return. The customer has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the product, provided they notify RAWBIKE in writing within the specified period.

The customer must document the vehicle's condition with clear photos when invoking the right of withdrawal. This allows RAWBIKE to determine whether the withdrawal is valid and the return can be approved under our terms. Any damages that occurred during transport to the customer should also be documented with photos and reported to us as soon as possible.

When returning the vehicle, the customer is responsible for carefully repacking it in the same box and with the same packaging used for delivery. This minimizes the risk of damage during return transport. If the vehicle is not correctly packed and damage occurs due to insufficient packaging, RAWBIKE reserves the right to deduct the depreciation from the refund.

The customer is responsible for return handling, but RAWBIKE provides a return shipping label. Note that the shipping cost for the original delivery is not refunded, and a return fee of 999 SEK will be charged to the customer for returns.

If a vehicle was ordered with an assembly service, we cannot refund this cost as it is a service performed by our workshop partners. Returning an assembled vehicle costs 999 SEK in addition to the assembly cost.

Right of Withdrawal and Return Conditions for Accessories/Spare Parts

For the right of withdrawal to apply to ordered accessories, the product must be in essentially unchanged condition upon return. The customer has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the product, provided they notify RAWBIKE in writing within the specified period.

The customer is responsible for handling returns, but a return shipping label is provided by RAWBIKE. Note that the shipping cost for the original delivery is not refunded, and a return fee of 89 SEK will be charged to the customer for returns.

Right of Withdrawal and Return Conditions for Batteries

For the right of withdrawal to apply to a purchased battery, the product must be in essentially unchanged condition upon return. The customer has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the product, provided they notify RAWBIKE in writing within the specified period.

When returning batteries, it is crucial to send them back in the same box and packaging they were delivered in, to comply with regulations for the transport of hazardous goods. Improper packaging may affect the possibility of returning the item and lead to rejection of the right of withdrawal.

The customer is responsible for handling returns, but a return shipping label will be provided by RAWBIKE. Note that the shipping cost for the original delivery is not refunded, and a return fee of 999 SEK will be charged to the customer for returns.

Warranty

Warranty Coverage

All vehicles come with a 2-year warranty.

  • The warranty is not extended by replacing parts.
  • The warranty includes Rawbike sending replacement parts needed for the customer to replace the parts themselves or as agreed with a workshop in a suitable location.
  • A replacement part does not have to be new but must be in good working condition and at least equivalent to the replaced part.
  • The warranty does not cover chains, cables, tires, tubes, fenders, or chain guards. Normal adjustments like gear and brake tuning, spoke tensioning, tightening loose screws and bolts, and normal wear are not considered defects.
  • The warranty does not cover defects due to improper assembly, misuse, moisture, wear, modification of the frame or electrical system, poor maintenance, overloading, or external damage.
  • Guarantees do not cover compensation for direct or indirect damages incurred due to user error.
  • The warranty does not include compensation for assembly costs or other inconveniences incurred by the customer to repair or fix the vehicle.

The warranty also does not cover defects that are insignificant to the vehicle's function and use. NOTE! Drive with care. Severe shocks like curbs, bumps, or uneven surfaces can damage the moped if driven recklessly. Repeatedly driving at high speeds over curbs and bumps can weaken the frame or damage the spokes.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Modification of the electrical system.
  • Changes to the original settings of the vehicle (e.g., wheel size, current limit, motor poles, start pulses, start mode).
  • Defects due to improper assembly, misuse, moisture, wear, frame or electrical system modifications, poor maintenance, overloading, or external damage.
  • Chains, cables, tires, tubes, fenders, or chain guards. Normal adjustments, such as gear and brake tuning, spoke tensioning, and tightening loose screws and bolts, are not covered.

Warranty Mopeds/Bicycles

  • The vehicle's battery should not be exposed to extreme heat or water. The battery is weather-protected for use even in the rain but must not be subjected to continuous water exposure, such as submersion in streams, ditches, or creeks.
  • When not in use, the battery should be stored in a dry and cool place.
  • The battery must be periodically charged when not in use for an extended period to maintain full capacity.
  • The warranty does not cover batteries older than two years, water-damaged batteries with short circuits or reduced capacity, or batteries damaged by accidents or falls on hard surfaces.
  • Note that a battery's capacity diminishes in extreme hot or cold temperatures.

Tuning the Vehicle

Tuning your vehicle (making it faster) increases wear on the motor and drivetrain. If the customer chooses to make this modification, it is at their own risk and is not covered by the warranty.

Other Warranty Conditions

The date on the receipt/invoice serves as the purchase date. If the customer does not report defects within the warranty period, they lose the right to invoke the warranty. The customer must immediately limit further damage caused by continued use in the event of damage or defects. In cases where the customer invokes the warranty, Rawbike reserves the right to remedy the defects under the stated conditions. If Rawbike fails to resolve the issues within 60 days, the customer and Rawbike must agree on an appropriate settlement, which will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product.

Insurance

The mopeds are sold uninsured, and it is the buyer's responsibility to obtain traffic and theft insurance for our vehicles classified as mopeds.

Disputes

Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these warranty conditions should first be resolved through mutual agreement. Consumers can contact Consumer Guidance or have the dispute reviewed by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Disputes can always be tried in general courts. Swedish law applies to the application, interpretation, and enforcement of all rights and obligations associated with the purchase of the product.
